Carol Kang, the artist behind Parallel Hands, is a Brooklyn-based ceramicist whose work captures the essence of movement and fluidity. Her journey with clay began at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where a spontaneous choice to take ceramics as a foundation-year elective sparked a lifelong passion. Each piece starts with a loosely formed idea, shaped on the wheel and transformed with added elements to create dynamic, one-of-a-kind expressions of artistry.
